Your school or organization may qualify for
discounts in several categories. The examples
below represent a few of the possibilities.
In addition, DISCOVER staff sometimes can facilitate
a trade for services, or cooperative agreements
between school/organizations, to reduce costs.
Check with your DISCOVER representative for
more details.
-
Progressive Discounts—Progressively
larger discounts are available on some services
when they are combined or scheduled consecutively.
For example, we encourage schools to schedule
a series of workshops (rather than
just one) and the cost per workshop decreases
with each additional workshop scheduled.
In the same way, other services cost less
when combined. When scheduling an
Assessment Training you might want to add
a half or full day seminar or workshop.
In this case, the cost of the additional
seminar or workshop usually can be reduced
by about 25%. The exact amount of the discounts
may vary according to which services are
combined or consecutively scheduled, along
with other details specific to your location.
The DISCOVER representative will work with
you to create the most cost effective plan.
-
Quantity Discounts—Quantity
discounts apply in areas such as the number
of students Assessed (School-Based Assessment—Option
1 and Parent/Community-Based Assessment—Option
1), the number of Observers Candidates trained
(School-Based Assessment—Option 2), the
number of Assessment Forms and Tangram puzzle
books ordered, and so forth. A description
of each quantity discounts appears with
the pricing information for the respective
service or product.
-
Service Contracts—long-term
service contracts offer the most comprehensive
and cost-effective way of working with DISCOVER.
Service contracts typically are set up over
periods lasting anywhere from several months
to several years, and are designed to integrate
with existing school or organization programs,
to produce targeted outcomes. Each
plan is designed specifically for the location
and can include any available DISCOVER services
(or site-specific variations).
