November 25 to December 1: Helping my sister take care of my mother who is having dental surgery (she also has a heart condition, so this is more serious for her than others, and spending Thanksgiving with my family

December 11 to 20: Speaking at the Fifth Education Conference hosted by Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt, Gifted Education: The start for an age of creativity and distinction." Meeting with the Head of Child Education, Dean of the College, and the President of the University to discuss a Long-term Cooperative Project between the University of Arizona and Assiut University

January 6 to 10: In Tucson, hosting Yu Xin, Faculty member of the Beijing Institute of Education and part of the DISCOVER in China Project

January 17: Workshop for Chinle Boarding School Faculty on using the DISCOVER Curriculum Model with identified gifted students

January 27 (approximately) to March 31: Hosting Dr. Hing Fung (Annie) Tsui, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Educational Psychology, Counseling and Learning Needs, The Hong Kong Institute of Education
