How Do I Get the Assessment? Because the DISCOVER Assessment gathers substantially more information than paper-and-pencil tests, its implementation is correspondingly more complex…and because the Assessment is available in several forms, its implementation varies. If you have not already done so, please read the Assessment section for a general understanding of how the DISCOVER Assessment works. The following categories guide you through the Assessment options available to parents and community organizations—and provide specific details for each, helping you decide which to choose. The Assessment is available in a Standard Group form (ages 5 to 18), a Standard Individual form (ages 5 to 18), an Expanded Individual form (ages 10 and up), and a Pre-School form (ages 3-5). The individual forms of the Assessment are done with one Observer for each individual being assessed. The group form assesses between 5 and 30 individuals at a time, with no more than 5 individuals per Observer. The Pre-School Assessment is always a one-on-one.
